and then another guy passing by in a cargo bike told him to hop in the front basket

At this moment, I was supposed to be riding north to Mayo with my buddy for a long weekend of motocamping. The Irish weather put paid to that so instead am stuck at home with the wife arguing with the daughter, a to-do list growing by the minute as said wife does the "Well, since you're here..." 🤬🤬🤬

Crap weather today, so into the shedquarters I went. Cabinets put together, tool chests sorted, and grabbed an old kitchen table butcherblock and cut it down to slot in as a work surface. Need to run a couple of sockets and get the wall control pegboard mounted tomorrow.
It may be the only way to get the Children’s Hospital finished?

OK #motosky, need advice! Since all my riding previously was done where it rarely rained,I am not prepared for Irish weather. And am too fat to fit in my gear anyways. (Thanks, Keoghs!) Any recs for some waterproof/all weather riding gear that won't bankrupt me until I shed some fat off my backside?
