I used to tell everyone I was 5’10 and 3/4” just to annoy the dudes shorter than me claiming six feet.
But I got a more precise measurement during a physical a few years back and discovered I’m actually 5’11 and 1/4” so now I just say I’m 5-11.

My older kid is 5'10" and if they had $1 for every time they'd heard "oh, you can't be 5'10", you're the same height as I am and I'm six feet tall" they'd have their next rent payment, I think.

6'2" better than an even 6', because I have to spend an inordinate time assuring people I'm legit 6' because of all the 5'10" claiming to be 6'!
I am curious the details of this. I imagine you stood next to the height scale, your jaw dropped, slipped on the monocle, and tried to brace yourself.
