We did notice
There is a new book by an Indigenous author pretty much every time I go to the bookstore, in all sorts of genres, and I can't possibly keep up and read them all, which is the most wonderful problem to have. We absolutely rock.
Folks don't really understand how Indigenous people were not getting published unless they were performing trauma...for like, generations. That we're breaking into every genre that exists now is truly a fucking miracle that needs to be celebrated.
