Twitter’s algorithm creates a feedback loop on contentious posts. The most contentious posts tend to be divisive oversimplifications that demonise entire groups of people.

The best response to a business pedaling hate is the tumbleweed of financial ruin - invest in the good, don't waste effort arguing with hate. Let hate die in a vacuum.

Facebook, Twitter etc don't deserve the legitimacy that comes from UK Government use. Anyway, online social conversation is now dispersed away from walled gardens - and that's okay.
