Like, I became a worse person with this guy in my ear. I did start to believe I’m incapable of change. I did believe I will only ever match his view of me.
I want to argue *less*. I *am* happy that my friends enjoy different things than I do. That variety makes having friends a better experience.
Crazy how something as simple as saying hi to your friends and being interested in their thoughts and interests becomes so easy when you no longer are being told in private calls that you’re a self-serving asshole incapable of altruism or caring about people outside of what you can get out of them.
It's a very good idea for me to step away from the fandom for a while and focus on therapy. I'm not healthy.
In truth, I'll only ever find it when I have the confidence.
But I'm okay just being me for the time being, too.
I say I want a caregiver, but I’m far too nervous around people to actually initiate that kind of dynamic myself.
Probably where the dubcon regression kink comes from.
These fears don’t go away all at once, but already I’m noticing a change.

Yeah it is, but you just want to hate brown people, whereas the foreigners actually destroying "traditional English culture" (or at least the shreds of it left after the industrial revolution) are American multinational corporations.
