I paint pictures. Cycled across continents. Like walking when not limping. Loved a dog. Writing a book. #art #cyclist #Dublin #efc Liam Daly he/him

I've taken it down now. Thanks for the likes and engagement. Back to posting paintings of naked streets and topless mountains.
A west of Ireland #painting. "Stone Walls and the Grass is Green II" is a scene in County Galway. If you travel out from Galway city beyond Spidal, ideally by bicycle, then when you're near Inverin and look across Galway Bay to County Clare, you might see this. #SpéirGhorm #WallsOnWednesday #ArtYear
A #painting I finished and sold earlier this year. "Pen Corner" is a mixed media painting that came out of loving a building in Dublin that everybody loved, just not enough.

A #painting for you. "Cobh II" came from a day I spent cycling from one online friend to another, stopping in the Cork Harbour town to paint this view of the town from the pier. At one point my stool collapsed and with my dodgy knees I was like an insect on its back. Good times. #SpeirGorm #ArtYear
I'm going to delete my last painting posted because Bluesky stupidly labelled it "Adult Content" (Artistic nudity from a distance of male figures running into sea for charity event). I'll leave it for half an hour or so, if you fancy opening it to have a look but then I'm taking it down. #SpéirGhorm
A Türkiye #painting. "Ayasofya II" In my 20s I cycled alone from Dublin to Istanbul (and a bit on the Asia side). I spent a month in Istanbul where Hagia Sophia, as a then former church and former mosque, was a museum. A favourite building of mine I did a few paintings of it. #SpéirGhorm #ArtYear
Kildare's turn. A #painting from the east of Ireland, where...
I see skies of blue
And clouds of white
The bright blessed day
The dark sacred night
And I think to myself
What a "wonderful barn"
