also sidenote, ig ultimately I get really annoyed when non black progressives try to have takes on black art that they think sounds intelligent but ultimately makes them look like an out of touch semi racist prick.
they're so used to consuming art where black characters are not personalized characters but instead side pieces so they genuinely dunno how to process art where the black characters are the center focus and black culture is present.

also my characters are cutes and I try to make them feel personalized and fun. I don't see black queers in people's work often, especially trans ppl.
