Re-upping my paper from last year for context on the political instrumentalisation of Libya's version of the grand replacement theory, in a situation where key actors have no interest in actual solutions.
Following a week or so of what seems like a coordinated social media campaign stoking fears of a grand conspiracy to settle migrants in Libya, things are now predictably getting out of hand. Very similar playbook to what happened a little over a year ago.
