There's much to discuss with the Karmelo Anthony trial without misinformation. 1) It is NOT true that the jury was all white. 2) It IS true that all eligible Black jurors were dismissed, resulting in no Black jurors. All that being true, it is still important to discuss the role that race played.
Trump being booed is a reminder that one reason he hates Obama is because he is seen as an inconvenience in spaces where Obama is embraced. Trump also craves adoration in elitist, wealthy spaces and mainstream spaces, but the spaces embracing him most are those he’s always ridiculed/looked down on.
Question I’ve been thinking about for a while: What is the last (or most recent) mainstream band or group that you would say is explicitly political, meaning most or all of their songs are political in nature and not subtle. I have an answer that I’ll share, but I’d like other thoughts first.
Company/org makes basic post: “We are for everyone!” 2 types of negative comments: 1) Homophobia/hate 2) Questioning why these posts are necessary. Those making the 2nd type of negative comments need to look at the 1st. Also because not everyone always felt/still doesn’t feel welcomed/accepted!

The SCOTUS has become so bold that they went from "This is the outcome we want, so we'll pretend/twist the law to fit the decision we want to get to" to "This is the outcome we want, so we're not even going to consider lower court rationale, apply the law, or pretend like laws matters for our side."
