After years of wear, his old prosthetic was causing pain and limiting his ability to work and live fully. With help from Steps and his prosthetist Andy Lopez, CPO at Hanger Clinic, Alex received a new leg, restoring comfort, mobility, and a renewed sense of balance in his everyday life. 2/3
Born with a congenital absence of the fibula and differences in his leg, Alex underwent an amputation at age six. He has spent his life adapting and finding balance "living in a two-legged world" with a positive, determined outlook. 1/3

For Wade, receiving a prosthetic leg means getting back to the life he loves.
An electrical engineer, hockey player, and VFW volunteer, Wade depends on mobility every day. As Wade puts it, a new leg will impact his life "in every way" and help him return to work and the activities that matter most.
