There’s a Palestinian sandwich shop here in Chicago. This elderly man & his family run it. He saw me squinting trying to see if they had matcha lattes. They didnt have it on the menu but he said “I can make it.” Then he took his (I believe) grandson & taught him how to make matcha! It was so cute.
One of our donors & I had a mtg yesterday & they willing to extend & increase their funding to us for The Perry Second Chances Scholarship but they gave us a choice. Do we increase our annual scholarship from $10K per winner to $20K OR Run $10K scholarships year round. IDK what to do TBH.

The older I get the less I care about climbing the corporate ladder. Ive JUMPED up the ladder faster than I assumed I would because of COVID and Im only 33. Salary wise the PEAK an epidemiologist can even make in their career is around $250K. Im already a Senior Epidemiologist.
