It’s better than the original. That’s facts. Most remakes do have something or a few things they do better than the original, but from what I’ve seen so far, RE4R is just straight up better than the OG RE4 in every way.

Resident Evil 4’s remake is probably the greatest remake so far. It doesn’t cut a ton of content like RE 3 and doesn’t mess up the story like RE 2. It’s more faithful than the FF 7 remake series and it’s not just an extremely well done remaster like Oblivion or Last of Us part 1. Game is top tier.
Outside of the lack of a platinum trophy equivalent, Xbox achievements are vastly superior to trophies. Primarily because trophies only allow for 3 tiers and it’s kind of stupidly common for relatively difficult challenges to only award bronze trophies.
Normally, I’d be a bit concerned, given how much time has passed, but if the EV commercial they did a few years back is any indication, they’ve absolutely still got it. I’ve been wanting another one ever since the rumors started in the late 00’s.
