I wanted the endpapers to look like marbled paper, but instead of making or sourcing it like a normal person, I took the unhinged option and *hand painted* it, just so I could weave spooky creature shapes into the marbling :)

Fine press books are some of my favourite things to illustrate. I love the convergence of illustration, bookbinding and typography. The end result is always so beautiful. 😍

It seems so obvious now, but why don't I ever do shapes within shapes?!?!??? Accidentally stumbled into this while making a silly little sticker to include with my shop orders omg. I literally think this is the best, most elegant thing I have made in recent memory. 🫠
