"Navy three-piece suit with a Knicks jersey as the vest" goes crazy lmao
Absolutely beast mode 24/7
I was operating based on the forecast I saw 3 days ago which said Sunday would be sunny and over 25°C 😩

*wakes up at 5 by accident* “That’s ok, I’ll just check the sump pump and cook oatmeal really fast and then I’ll go back to sleep until it’s actually time to get up.” I did not go back to sleep. I forgot that there’s always something else to do; HOUSEWORK IS NEVER FINISHED.
Now the sleeves no longer get yanked up into my armpits (yay), but I still have pointy shoulders. =/ On my third try I’ll adjust the shoulder slope.
Other modifications: Obviously, short sleeves. Also, I ignored the collar/neckband pattern piece and instead cut a narrower band with the same length as my neck circumference. Other notes: still not sure how I want to hem the sleeves… maybe with a band of ribbing so I won’t need my sewing machine.
Lisa’s lipsyncing is egregiousssssss
(oopsie I slept in — as is my wont on a Sunday — so now no one will see my matching dress+bike ensemble at the fancy ladies’ ride)

Almost done sewing this short-sleeve mockneck top. I used a pliant baby rib fabric and Vikisews’ Nettie pattern for the 2nd time. (B33.5/W27/H38 --> size 38 height 3, shortened at waist) My shoulders were too wide and sloped for my first Nettie, so this time I extended the shoulder seam a little…

"She would make sure that all 535 packets of letters and drawings were delivered to every member of Congress. She would keep telling the stories of the children she’d met." Keep going, Ms. Rachel. (gift link) wapo.st/4ecHKP2
