Fourteen years ago, DACA opened doors for hundreds of thousands of young people who call America home, supporting their pursuit of an education, a career, and a future free from fear. 🧵

We build it. We do it through partnerships. We do it through local leadership.
Our district is not just defined by the capital city. Large swathes of the region are home to farmers and rural communities with unique and equally as pressing needs. 🧵
In our region and across the country, the American Dream cannot become a reality for all if we allow our neighbors to be left behind.
DACA reflects the power of our nation to ensure opportunity is not lost. Our country was built by immigrants. Turning our backs on them is never an option.
