look, we spent decades shitting on lucas for adding rontos and dewbacks... but my six year old loved it all, from the schtickier robot slapstick to ol' obi's jedi mind trick ("what? how did he do THAT?"). i can't imagine a greater compliment than i can pay uncle george. (2/5)

my six year old son REQUESTED that we watch "a new hope" tonight. we watched the first thirty minutes. it was magical. he loves all the old school - and cgi stuff - and it's fine. his little golden book knowledge of the lore has deepened his appreciation of the original and it's introductions.
