I’m of the age where more and more of my friends complain about the youth, new slang, etc. it’s so boring. Mainstream culture has always sucked. Every generation has cool and meh slang, some stays, most doesn’t. 15-25 years ago isn’t that long. How do you forget this shit?

Not about anything in specific but I think we gotta be really careful about not conflating the concept of "enshittification" with the impulse to assume that everything was always better during your adolescence
