Now in closed beta:
Grid Analyst is an AI analyst with direct access to the Electricity Maps database: fundamentals, prices, cross-border flows, forecasts, weather data, TSO data. Purpose-built for power market workflows, with the domain depth to support quant-grade analysis.
Ask it to investigate a grid event, isolate cross-border causes, or develop and test trading strategies. It runs the SQL queries, builds the charts, and walks through its reasoning. No manual querying required.
Be sure to check the scale on the right of the chart to rule out some larger nuclear producing countries!
We'll reveal the answer on Monday over on LinkedIn: www.linkedin.com/posts/guess-...
For those of you still waiting on the big reveal, it was indeed Hungary!
Hungary's electricity system tells a clear structural story over the past three-and-a-half years: solar has exploded, coal has withered, gas has grown as a winter peaker, and nuclear has held its ground as the backbone.
We're playing a game of Guess The Grid around the Electricity Maps office this week!
Which European nation's grid is represented in this Electricity Mix chart from 23 April 2026?
No peeking at the app, map, or MCP allowed, of course... at least not until after you reply with your guess.
For our closed beta, we're looking for 10 specialists working in the power markets: traders, quants, consultants. Free, unlimited access for the duration of the beta, in exchange for your feedback.
