I don't like whitewashing what is *really* happening by using photos from 2025.
No scissor lifts or cherry pickers were used in the operation yesterday. Scaffolding and a tarp was used to deliberately miss a federal deadline *and*—maybe permanently—hide the front of the edifice.
Don't know how long this will stay live? But their covering it because someone is a big man baby.

This. This is how a real man, a real Christian AND a REAL President shows up!
Masculinity is when men stand up for the rights & well being of all people!
Our current president will never understand & he will be the laughingstock of American history.

Here is a livestream of crews removing Trump’s name from the Kennedy Center. I’m pretending this is part of the 250 celebrations. www.youtube.com/live/aAhm880...
Trump’s FBI showed up, without warrants, at the homes of Black and Brown voter registration canvassers in Ohio. Over 100 agents. No charges. No crime.
This is federal voter intimidation, happening right now, ahead of a major election cycle in a purple state.
Hell no people. We must fight back.

On the 63rd anniversary of his assassination, I’m remembering Medgar Evers, one of the great leaders of the Civil Rights Movement.
His courage and work helped move Mississippi forward. Honoring him means continuing that work, and never giving up on the promise of a better Mississippi for all.
