Everyone I played 5e with was familiar with the rules and there was never an issue of people taking too long to play out their turns; a big reason I got tired of it is because the game is designed to put you through multiple arbitrary encounters that are only there to drain your resources.

I think there's a lot of fertile ground to be explored around losing fights when the hobby is so geared towards a power fantasy where you always win on one side, and OSR-y meatgrinders with a lot of lethality and random chance on the other.

The human made icon tells people no ai was used. The ai guys hide that info, and people want to know what they're buying. Often they'll be more supportive if they can see your commitment to human creativity.

It's a big reason I don't really like PF2e, I think fans of the game really undersell how easy it is to make a suboptimal character who will be a burden to other people at the table.

I base this mostly on everything I've heard from my friends who've played a lot of PF2e. Everything else aside, I just have no interest at all in Pathfinder because it seems like the same kind of generic kitchen sink fantasy that I've thoroughly fallen out of love with in DnD lol. Draw Steel too.
