There is no award or accomplishment that protects an academic, a department, or a degree programme from the cuts. There is always a place to move the goalposts. They're killing higher education in the UK.
Labour lost nearly four times as many voters to the Greens as Reform.
Yet all you hear about is Reform's threat to Labour.
Why? Because
a) the left aren't treated as legitimate political actors
b) Labour's masters prefer bashing migrants to challenging wealth and power

Reading this as one of my many tasks today. Very downcast to see all those universities founded in the 1960s to foster the whole person, communities of hope and the conditions of freedom... ripped apart and trashed just a couple of generations later. For no good reason.

Today our members passed this motion to move to indefinite strike action if 100% pay deductions are imposed by management.
