I’m midway through this excellent book. I strongly recommend it. It’s opening whole new vistas for me. It’s an excellent companion to Barry Cunliffe’s books: for example, The Scythians and Facing the Sea of Sand.

It is great and Zeynep had pointed out two years ago, that there was no firman. Without the courage of a UK government and British Museum to make the necessary changes, the law will not allow for deaccession.
