Come on Tom, I think you know as well as I do that itβs highly unlikely that everyone draws a squirrel-themed map of the area when they move into a new house!
For example, mine is duck-themed, and thereβs a lot of other wildlife that other people choose.
The fact that hardly any them will just stand up and clearly and unambiguously say not only that it was clearly a mistake, but also that itβs a mistake we should reverse as soon as is feasible, is just another indication of how poorly served we are by our spineless political class.
The UK has a great deal of problems, but none of them can be resolved until we have a government that has not only the competence to find and implement workable solutions, but the courage to stay the course, even in the face of strident opposition. I see precious little of either at present.

There are many, many very compelling reasons to criticise Reform, but creating more active travel infrastructure is absolutely not one of them. Roadworks always create disruption, but sometimes you need to disrupt car traffic to create viable alternatives to car traffic.
Deconstructivist.
For reference this was around August 2025.

Funnily enough, my whole timeline is taken up with posts about posts about scaffolding.
Do they even really pretend itβs about immigration any more? I feel like they donβt bother to disguise the white nationalism these days.
