“In the fade…I thought about that. I’ve started to dream again. I…worry if I travel there willfully I may get trapped again. I don’t suppose you have any tools against that?” He rubbed the back of his neck. “I suppose I am beyond normal means…Hm…he does? I worry for him.”
“Those would be magical nutrients.” Revas chimed in, swooping down among the trees nearby. Amethyst wings curled closed upon his back and smudges of dirt already ran across his face and arms. “What a wonder this place is!”
“It isn’t a worry.” He reluctantly settled her down to the ground, keeping his arm around her in case her legs had fallen asleep in the journey. “The heart of the holiday is togetherness, I don’t need anythin-ah!” He winched as Opal grabbed his tail. “Maybe some rocks? Letgoletgo-!”
“That would be a great help. I didn’t wish to trouble him. I know he has much bigger things to worry about than the worries of an upstart halfdemon…thing like me.”
