Don't you see, this is exactly the point they were making. Labour and Reform are not anywhere close to the as bad as each other, and it is dangerous to say they are as it will let the far right in. And I say this as someone who did not vote for either.
Just an observation off this, since moving from London to Edinburgh (where it is a pleasant 17 degrees today!), I've really noticed how south-centric weather news is. Do we really think there'd be a live page when it's raining a lot in the north?
