Incredibly dismayed to just learn that my university is now making Gemini available to all students using Google Workspace. So, that means that they now basically have carte blanche to use AI to write their assignments and term papers in Google Docs, and faculty have basically no way to stop them.
Despite not going to trial, my life and the lives of my codefendants have been completely upturned, emotionally, professionally, and financially. We’re still picking up the pieces. But that’s the point. The process is the punishment. That can lead to securing indictments by any means necessary.
