SHE_SEES is part of Rewriting Women into Maritime History, led by Lloyd’s Register Foundation in partnership with Lloyd’s Register.
🌍⚓ Oceans apart, but working as one crew Life at sea brings together people from across the world - but communication isn’t always smooth sailing. Around 80% of the global fleet operates with multilingual crews, where language differences can impact safety, teamwork, and wellbeing.
The project aims to raise the visibility of women across the maritime sector — helping inspire future generations through representation, storytelling and portraiture. Now in its international phase, SHE_SEES captures women championing change across the Greek maritime sector.
