I wish we could lean on softness in publishing more often.
We are so cynical. For good reason.
So much work, little reward. Bad actors taking advantage of dreams. I gave up full time pub years ago bc I couldn’t build a life on the arguably great work I had.
But we DESERVE softness and optimism.
