shout out to nancy mace for taking some time out of her generating seemingly limitless hatred towards trans people, so she could say that she thinks the US engaging in a ground war would maybe be the line, crossing of which would maybe need congress granting approval

it's hard to tell since her statement was so milquetoast and noncommittal that I felt like I was watching a pete buttigieg interview for a second and I was like wait. I know mayor pete is gay. but I don't think he's trans, and this is a woman speaking here
of course, being trump, he said this right after having said “we settled eight wars. and we are winning another one. we are winning so big, nobody’s ever seen anything like we are doing in the middle east with iran" as someone with a vaguely competent grasp of english, that sounds to me like "war"
not only are desktop PCs probably dead but the remaining few sites reviewing PC hardware are operated by people so stupid they may as well be AI here's a review from notebookcheck.net where in a stunning revelation, a CPU with 8 cores is 30-50% slower than one with 16 cores in multi-threaded loads
AP News shows her treating it like a catwalk. Queen shit.
never mind the fact that the war powers resolution mandates only congress can formally declare and approve the US engaging in war, ground or not. but congress does have one quality that's completely bipartisan in nature, and that's cowardice. like nancy mace is putting on display
a strategic move on her part to issue toothlessly worded statements about how trump should maybe get congressional approval. he said it himself at a fundraiser on the 25th, "I won't use the word 'war'. they [congress] don’t like the word ‘war’ because you’re supposed to get approval [from congress]"
it's understandable for her to show herself to be cowardly since she spends so much of her time devoted to spreading misinformation and fear about us, a minority group making up less than a half percent of the population. I'm sure her constituents feel their needs are voiced in those storied halls
