Around this time, in 1991, a white label out of Manchester was floating around with catalog number CTP 002. Angel Town record executive's Bob Stanley and Pete Wiggs may have noticed. However, it wouldn't be Angel Town that this outfit would sign to in 1992. It would be Bob & Pete's Icerink Records.
Former Saint Etienne singer Donna Savage's group Dead Famous People released this great collection of long lost tracks on Sep 5, 2025. We may have missed it due to a certain other album being released the same day. You can check it out on Bandcamp: deadfamouspeoplenz.bandcamp.com/album/wild-y...
Saint Etienne Disco Recommendation
Out now Strawberry Records via Cherry Red Records have issued a 3CD box set titled 'Really Into Somethin'. It's compiled by Michael Clunkie who has djed a few Saint Etienne shows in the past. Definitely worth checking this out.
