How many specialty licence plates are we going to get before they give us the option of getting the ♿ symbol on our plates so I don't have to worry about getting fined when I forget to hang my accessible parking permit every time I park my car in an accessible spot?
It's time! The Canadian Association for Supported Employment 2026 conference is underway. The LiveWorkPlay employment team is taking full advantage of the conference being hosted in Ottawa, and is also delivering one of the lead-off presentations today at 2pm!
"The entire point of the human built environment is accessibility."
So elegant, succinct, and true.
Just think if that was the lens we used for all new builds?
We sure still get stuck, though.

In Ottawa for the @case-canada.bsky.social conference. There's a nice concentration of local coffee shops/roasters nearby, so nerding out a bit. First stop: Ideal Coffee (or I Deal Coffee). Went for baseline regular cup with dash of milk. Busy down home place and wonderful coffee. Superb start.
Next up: Opulence Coffee. It's one of the highest rated in the city. Very sparse storefront. It's all about the coffee. Also excellent. Tried the cappuccino, which was great. I think the straight up coffee from Ideal has the edge though.
