from reading interviews with Takakhashi, this OVA was really just made so he could secure a happy ending for Chirico and co., which I can understand, and even think is sort of sweet. but still, it's kind of a sad petering out for the series in terms of execution.
wild to me that this pretty much just what Votoms Phantom Arc looks like
