The GOP obsession about Epstein was always deeply antisemitic (hence Massie's engagement with the topic). As antisemitically tinged conspiracism has overtaken corners of "progressive" discourse, we need to be honest about the dangers of some of this rhetoric.
Platner on Day One going for the "Both parties the same I hate the ESTABLISHMENT (((Epstein Class)))" is, indeed, Peak Populism, and it is going to be so depressing when in all likelihood the party brand drags him to victory and people decide this means it all works
It has been all of one day into the general, and Platner is already running against the Democratic brand.
