The GOP obsession about Epstein was always deeply antisemitic (hence Massie's engagement with the topic). As antisemitically tinged conspiracism has overtaken corners of "progressive" discourse, we need to be honest about the dangers of some of this rhetoric.

Every day I become more uncomfortable with this stuff. By now I think Dems going all in on this was a complete mistake opening the door to conspiracism that is just one more step removed from antisemitism
