#SFFChat Q2. I don't really know how to compare. What I can say is that I like when SFF challenges the status quo, and that often is through "criminals." CotR has that, as even the royalty is torn apart by so-called criminals, and there's that leaning into the common people aspect of wuxia.
#SFFChat Q4. If they wanted to get away, just ask for Sareena's help. Sareena, who HAS got away with many crimes, including the destruction of various sanctuaries and temples and the assassination of people in various ranks and roles.

I think that, with the type of SFF I read, my work aligns with that! There is sympathy for those who have no choice, as they are starving or dying, or fighting back against a corrupt system, rebelling against a government. Much more critical of those who break laws for greed/power.
