(catches random IG post) - yeah, @stephengrahamjones.com , I'll agree with you on that Ketchum pick. The Girl Next Door, in addition to being genuinely creepy, also sits in the rarefied space devoted to "books that completely eat all the sunshine out of a day." It's the Eden Lake of print.
Mild amusement: the less than totally subtle attempts by academia.com to get me to pay for services, sending me emails to ask if I'm the person mentioned in whatever academic paper. Doubtful; I mean, most days *I've* barely heard of me - pretty sure the world has heard even less. 😂
Just completed my defense of the creative portfolio of works I did for my masters - Weird as a genre modality for Texas regionalist fiction.
