Latvia's Eurovision 2026 participant Atvara has released her new single, "Plaisā", her first release since performing at Eurovision in Vienna, Austria in May. About "Plaisā" "Plaisā", meaning "cracks" when translated into English, is Atvara's first release since competing in the second semi-final of the Eurovision Song Contest in Vienna in May. The song is, like her Eurovision entry "Ēnā", completely in Latvian. The track is another collaboration with producer JJ LUSH (Jānis Jačmenkins), who worked with Atvara on "Ēnā". This new release once again shows off Atvara's vocal talents and delivers emotional lyrics which tell the story of heartbreak through not being recognised or parts of yourself becoming invisible to a partner.

Georgia has officially selected their representative for Junior Eurovision 2026. Davit Lomidze will take part in the Contest in Malta in October after winning their selection process. The winner of Ranina 2026 The grand final of the ninth season of Georgia's Ranina competition was won by 9-year-old Davit Lomidze. The selection process final saw 3 contestants all perform covers of well known compositions by Revaz Lagidze. Liliana Chachanidze and Zurab Naskidashvili also competed in the final alongside Davit Lomidze, with a panel of jurors made up of Nato Metonidze, Davit Tsintsadze and Sopho Khalvashi selecting Lomidze the winner, although the detailed points of the top three were not shared publicly.

Delta Goodrem is about to move from the stage of Eurovision to the ballroom of Strictly Come Dancing UK. She was announced on the 12th of June. Strictly Come Dancing UK is set to air on Saturdays and Sundays on BBC One and BBC iPlayer in the autumn. Luxembourg's national broadcaster RTL has confirmed that next year's Luxembourg Song Contest will be held on Janaury 30th. The broadcaster also confirmed that the government has granted funding for three more years of participation, guaranteeing their participation until 2029. Luxembourg Song Contest returns to Rockhal In a press release from RTL, further details have been given about the upcoming selection. The national final will take place at the Rockhal in Esch-Belval on January 30th, 2027. Broadcaster RTL also welcomed the decision by the Luxembourgish government to guarantee funding to participate in three more editions of the Contest.

Dutch Minister of Education, Culture & Science, Rianne Letschert says she sees no reason to ask the Media Commissioner to investigate the Netherlands' broadcasters AVROTROS and the NPO group around the decision to withdraw from the Eurovision Song Contest. A programming choice for the broadcaster themselves Writing in response to a parliamentary question from Dutch MPs René Claassen and Mona Keijzer, Minister Letschert stated that the decision to participate or not participate in the Eurovision Song Contest lies with the broadcasters involved, based on the editorial autonomy of the organisations. The question from the members came after an article alleged an "Hilversum boycott" of this year's contest.

Greece's national broadcaster ERT has confirmed that it will be competing in the 71st edition of the Eurovision Song Contest next year in Bulgaria. A return for Sing for Greece Following Akylas' success for Greece in Vienna, Greek broadcaster ERT has confirmed their intention to participate in the next edition of the Eurovision Song Contest, due to be held in Bulgaria next May. ERT have also confirmed the return of their national selection show Sing For Greece. This would be the third edition of the National Final since its regeneration in 2025, seeing Klavdia and Akylas win in 2025 and 2026.

Antigoni has now released her new song "OUD". Antigoni had previously taken part in Eurovision 2026, representing Cyprus with the song "Jalla", which placed 19th out of 25 finalists in the final. About "Oud" "OUD" uses a similar tone to "Jalla," following a Cypriot style. Mullally & Trey Qua produced and wrote the song. Antigoni had written the song. This is a month after she placed 19th at Eurovision 2026 with the song "Jalla", which scored 75 points in total. "OUD" talks about self-confidence along with leaning back into her Cypriot heritage, which has been a theme in her discography even before "Jalla" with songs such as "Habibi".

Swedish Eurovision 2026 participant FELICIA has released her first single since performing in Vienna, Austria in May. About "Me Without U" Following her performance of "My System" in Vienna in May, Swedish artist FELICIA has released her first new single since the contest. The song sees her reinterpret the Romanian DJ Edward Maya's 2009 dance classic "Stereo Love" with usual FELICIA flair as part of the Spotify Singles format. "Me Without U" takes the instantly recognisable banger "Stereo Love" and adds new layers to the dance track, with FELICIA delivering new lyrics whilst keeping the famous dance beat of the original song.

SRF has officially confirmed it will be participating at the 2027 Eurovision Song Contest. Broadcasting group SRG SSR opened the submission window for the country’s Eurovision Song Contest 2027 entry. Artists, songwriters, and producers are invited to submit their songs from August 20th until September 7th, 2026. How to apply SRF is accepting entries that meet the following criteria: The song must be new and unreleased before September 1st 2026 Maximum song length is 3 minutes. The performer must be at least 16 years old, a Swiss citizen or someone who has lived in Switzerland over a year…

Bosnia & Herzegovina's national broadcaster BHRT has won more rulings on receiving unpaid TV licence fees from RTRS, the broadcaster within Republika Srpska. Though the broadcast lost a larger court case, smaller cases have been ruled in BHRT's favour, mandating the Srpska broadcaster to pay back its fees, which could go to clearing BHRT's debts. Debts being settled Bosnia & Herzegovina has been absent from the Eurovision Song Contest as a result of unpaid debts to the EBU, with the country last appearing in 2016. Since then, the EBU has refused to let the country participate until its debts - totalling 22 million KM (€11.5 million) - are totally paid off.
