Georgia has officially selected their representative for Junior Eurovision 2026. Davit Lomidze will take part in the Contest in Malta in October after winning their selection process. The winner of Ranina 2026 The grand final of the ninth season of Georgia's Ranina competition was won by 9-year-old Davit Lomidze. The selection process final saw 3 contestants all perform covers of well known compositions by Revaz Lagidze. Liliana Chachanidze and Zurab Naskidashvili also competed in the final alongside Davit Lomidze, with a panel of jurors made up of Nato Metonidze, Davit Tsintsadze and Sopho Khalvashi selecting Lomidze the winner, although the detailed points of the top three were not shared publicly.

JONAS LOVV has released his new single "If We Die". The Norwegian singer had previously performed at Eurovision 2026 where he placed 14th in the Grand Final. "If We Die" is LOVV's first new release since taking to the Eurovision stage in Vienna. About "If We Die" JONAS LOVV's latest release sees him once again collaborate with Sondre Skaftun, who worked with LOVV on his Eurovision entry "Ya Ya Ya" in May. "If We Die" takes LOVV down a more emotional rock route than his 2026 Eurovision entry, with a more personal and less arena anthem theming to the song in what he describes as a bit of a contrast to what he usually writes.

RAI has announced that the 77th edition of the Festival di Sanremo will take place between the 16th and 20th of February 2027. The announcement comes as whispers of possible changes to Italy's Eurovision representative selection method swirl. "All We Are About" is Satoshi's first song written in English. Latvia's Eurovision 2026 participant Atvara has released her new single, "Plaisā", her first release since performing at Eurovision in Vienna, Austria in May. About "Plaisā" "Plaisā", meaning "cracks" when translated into English, is Atvara's first release since competing in the second semi-final of the Eurovision Song Contest in Vienna in May. The song is, like her Eurovision entry "Ēnā", completely in Latvian. The track is another collaboration with producer JJ LUSH (Jānis Jačmenkins), who worked with Atvara on "Ēnā". This new release once again shows off Atvara's vocal talents and delivers emotional lyrics which tell the story of heartbreak through not being recognised or parts of yourself becoming invisible to a partner.
