I just had a fucking unbelievable interaction with Revolut because of this article.

So I read that article about Visa and ChatGPT implementing some new abysmally stupid AI fuckery, and since I have a Revolut Visa card, I decided to contact support and ask if they are actually doing this.
The chatbot said absolutely not. And I said good, because I would close my account if you did.

I asked to talk to a human. Hey, it's a chatbot. It's going to agree with everything I say and hallucinate. The human confirmed, but she dropped a couple of obviously AI-generated, effusive walls of babble. Which I told her sucked, given the context, and I rated the conversation low when it ended.
