#𝓐𝐋𝐈𝐒𝐀. it always irked me that in the show that they made claudia a teenager, AND YES lestat being way too toxic (despite the actor doing an amazing job) is so true in the show. i cannot wait to read the books. ❤️
her cheeks were slightly pink as she smiled at him, shrugging quietly. “well, your friend is not here, so i shall make the judgement of you now.” she commented calmly, and she paused for a moment getting her bearings.
“well, i am touched that you find me as a kind of ‘right person,’” she hummed ——
—— in response. “and i would be thrilled to listen to your story, as well as to tell you mine.” she spoke quietly, pushing a stray curl behind her ear.
“it feels like so long ago, but i remember it as thought it was yesterday…” a shadow of grief touched her eye, before it quickly disappeared, ——
—— and she turned to him again. “but if you want to share your story first, please do; i will be happy to listen.”
she nodded in understanding, lowering her hand. “it will return to you, i am sure.” she spoke gently, offering him a kind smile. her eyes softened. “come, i believe the hotel is close, and we must make haste for your friend.” she added with a soft smile.
