For all those in Europe: Today is Juneteenth, a holiday that celebrates the end of chattel slavery in the US. But, the reality is that slavery still happens, and European wealth and comfort is built on this forced labor and exploitation.

In my saga of ongoing medical issues, my doctor is now completely ignoring my request to refill my pain medication (which he knows is also very dangerous for me to suddenly stop! Not to mention how the meds barely control my spinal pain as is!)
