My apologies, as I really should have noted that @heidieys.bsky.social was the co-author on this book. It's a super fun collection, even if lamprey mouths give me a bad case of the jibblies.
Part of my writing process is creating playlists that serve as personal soundtracks for my current WIP. This is absolutely essential, and not at all a form of stalling.
As an indie author, reviews are a huge help when it comes to trying to spread the word about a book. If you've read ANY of my books, it would mean the world to me if you'd leave a brief review on Amazon or GoodReads. I'd be incredibly grateful for the support!
Looking for your next summer read? All three of my books are available through Amazon, including Kindle Unlimited! Read them! Share them with friends!! Hand them out to strangers you meet in parking lots!!! If you don't enjoy them, send copies to your enemies!!!! =

I've been taking a deep dive back into the poetry of Jane Yolen. Today's book is her gorgeously illustrated "Yuck, You Suck: Poems About Animals That Sip, Slurp, Suck." The poems are funny & fascinating, perfect for entertaining young readers while sneaking some learning in.
Tonight, my wife and I watched the 1987 film Dolls from director Stuart Gordon. It's a fun little dark fairytale of a horror film which took some inspiration from The Uses of Enchantment by Bruno Bettelheim. But the most important thing to know about it is just this: murderous, stop motion dolls.
