FEVER PITCH - Watched this the night after Arsenal's big victory. I thought maybe this film might make me understand football fandom on an emotional level. It didn't. And I still don't care. Colin Firth is good and it's an interesting concept. It's just not really for me.
DAZED AND CONFUSED - Loved this! Richard Linklater's coming-of-age comedy set on the last day of high school. I mean, I got bullied at school but Christ, this Freshman shit is fucked up! A funny script, fantastic ensemble cast (with a very young Ben Affleck) and an amazing soundtrack too!
