Afternoon Womble, I’m reading Moss’d in Space and I’m really enjoying it
I’ve had to pause my Hugo’s reading for ARC reading (green city wars & moss’d in space) and I feel sooooo chill and normal and at all weird or deranged
I love that random men get accused of performative reading for no reason when I’ve been doing it for years and no ones ever said shit if you see me reading in public know I feel unbelievably smug
I went into green city wars with kind mixed feelings (loved the concept but my last Tchaikovsky was shroud and I didn’t enjoy it) and I really liked it! Not super cowabunga but it’s a thinker for me for sure. I’m not immune to being shown a little guy and being asked what personhood really is
Zero mention of the racoon wearing a hat. I can’t emphasise how little mention of hats for Skotch there is. Put a hat on that racoon Adrian I swear to god. There’s like 6 days until release surely that’s enough time to put a hat on that racoon.
I can find a million lists of anticipated sff releases for the first half of the year but literally none for the second half tell me what’s coming I’m begging I want to know
I am really enjoying green city wars though (moss’d is up next)
