The "commandment" on this week's "America's Culinary Cup" was "Sauces." I love Padma and the parts of the show that are just "Top Chef" are just fine, but it's a bizarre to watch a format that's so simultaneously over-produced and under-produced.

I missed Edwin Diaz's entrance last night, but watching (on TV) tonight's entrance — hopefully Sportsnet knows they can NEVER cut to commercial early — with the live trumpeter and the stadium buzz, I remain baffled that the Mets would let him walk out the door.
