You know what I think Court’s problem in Trench Crusade is? Their chaff is mechanically nonexistent and their elites aren’t strong enough to compensate for it. They need to be feel a bit tanker and stronger to deal with as the humans have a very easy time dealing with them. Also buff goetic spells.
Got a couple more games of Trench Crusade in—had my first ever draw in this game yet. That’s the best I have ever done so far! Been having a much better performance with iron Sultanate over the Court, I’ll definitely say.
My Court fight did not go so well. Blech, what else is new? lol.
I wanna thank the Trench Crusade community for proving itself as an exception to a community who -has- had my back through this and has encouraged me to never give up no matter what. So I will continue to try and maybe we can eventually find roots out here in the Western States.
I don't know how or why, but despite locals having no faith in the product, getting really self-righteous about it and saying it is simply offensive and problematic, I am still somehow getting games in from new people every month. I feel a community in Utah is possible but we can't give up.
So something I have come to learn about wargaming is to never take recommendations for wargames from random strangers on the internet--mainly because those people, often times, will never truly have your back, in the end. It's worse they get fickle about it. But Trench Crusade has been an exception.

First official Iron sultanate game for Trench Crusade! What a game it was. I actually quite liked that. Brazen Bull is my MVP this game. He unleashed *udder* destruction upon the enemy. :3
