Soko:te (California Bay Laurel) is providing us with its fruit this time of year! Ohlone people have harvested Bay Nuts for thousands of years and our team spent the day gathering and processing them. When roasted, the flavor resembles coffee and is also a natural source of energy.

The Land Loss Prevention Project was founded in 1982 by the North Carolina Association of Black Lawyers to curtail epidemic losses of Black owned land in North Carolina.  This Black History month, we uplift the rematriation efforts of Black and Indigenous Land happening around the world.
