Michael Gavshon, the longtime 60 Minutes producer who worked on the Anderson Cooper/South Africa story that Bari Weiss tried to meddle with (and led to Cooper quitting 60), announced to staff today that he's leaving the show.
Breaker reports that Bari Weiss's newest hire for the London bureau is Trevor Phillips, a 72-year-old ex-British politican known for his Islamophobic views.
"What an utter joke," one senior CBS staffer told me. "His anti-Muslim views are clearly a qualifier."
