because @julianwinters.bsky.social said it was camp I went to go see Masters of the Universe with my wife and while I can't say it's a GOOD film it was at least trying to say something amid all the nostalgia pandering which, for a summer blockbuster with like 8 giant companies attached, is pretty OK
I went to my local wine shop, purchased a mid range bottle of champagne, put it in the fridge to chill, and will open it when it happens. And every day I open the fridge and see that bottle I will remember it might happen today, or it might not. But it will definitely happen some day.

there was a couple sat next to us that were so blatantly stoned they laughed at everything, even non-jokes. it actually added a sense of childish delight to the whole thing which may have softened me a bit
