This is already a show where the characters kind of explain everything they're feeling all the time in therapy speak so it's kind of baffling.
Any Backrooms criticism has to come with the caveat that it's an incredible movie considering it's the directorial debut of a 20 year old but its evocative imagery is underserved by its very weak character writing.
